Hey girl, hey!! Can it really be only a few days from Valentines Day? Bring on the candy hearts and chocolate.

February is known as the month of “love.” Growing up, I experienced different emotions during this month at different times in my life. Looking back, remembering these times makes me giggle. I remember being:
- The girl who made sure everything was perfect. Gifts, reservations, makeup and dress.
- The one who against Valentines Day and who just wanted the day to end.
- The girl who planned everything perfectly, but then decided to stay in with her pup.

Whichever “Valentines Day” girl you identify with the most, always remember to be gentle with yourself, enjoy the day and most importantly, “Its acceptable to always wear that beautiful dress you bought for Valentines Day even if you are staying in with yourself, friends or significant other.”
Top 3 Ways To Celebrate Valentines Day During February
Create a Galentine’s Day for you and your girls.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t always have to be about being in a romantic relationship. It is totally acceptable to have a day with your girls. Galentine’s Day can include anything you all want to do together. Whether, its a zoom call showing off your cute new outfits to having an in person “Self Love” party… the possibilities are endless.
Create a fun and unique at home photo-shoot with your spouse or self– No doubt, times are a bit different now. Creating an at home photo-shoot with your partner or yourself is sure to be a fantastic time. Draw inspiration from others or from your own relationship. What is something that makes your relationship unique? Be creative and fun have!
Go on an adventure to find the perfect “Valentines Day” photo opportunity– It can be surprising sometimes what you can find in your community when you have awareness about what you may be looking for. Think about the local downtown areas, parks and even outside shopping centers. This picture was taken at a local downtown spot in Lakeland, Florida called the “Joinery.” It looks super pretty,right? This was an excellent find and perfect for a little “Valentines Day Photo Opportunity.”
