As the year comes to an end, I know a lot of us girls are putting together our New Years makeup look.

This year may look drastically different than the previous due to current events, which is why it is even more important for you to be “feeling yourself” and to celebrate.
I mean… you got through this year which was definitely filled with much uncertainty.
Whatever you decide to do…pull out your two favorite lipsticks and blend them together to get that GLAM look that you secretly know you want to do!

Being bold can sometimes feel frightening. Finding that balance is much needed which is why blending two different shades can give us that little “safety net.”
To create a bold and statement making lipstick, I mixed both “Once Bitten Icy Sky” and “#Snowfilter” from M.A.C Cosmetics. Using the more sheer color followed by the brighter color gave me “New Year Look” that I was going for.
Girls, we can solve anything. If ever not sure about how to give your look that extra “kick” or maybe if you want to “not be so extra” try mixing a few different shades.

That’s a nice idea to mix your own lippy! I have a L’Oreal lip palette that I love and I always mix the shades.
